Senior Azure Cyber Security Engineer (Protect & Prevent)
Remote | £85,000 – £100,000
I’m working with a well known UK retailer who are looking to add a Senior Azure Cyber Security Engineer to their internal cyber security team.
This role sits within the Protect and Prevent pillar of the cyber function and focuses on strengthening preventative security controls across the organisation’s infrastructure, cloud and endpoint estate.
This role is focused on engineering preventative security controls, rather than working in a SOC or monitoring environment.
What you will be doing
Working closely with infrastructure and cyber leadership to design and implement security controls across a hybrid environment.

• Identity security and conditional access using Entra ID
• Endpoint protection and attack surface reduction

• Supporting the deployment and optimisation of tools such as Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel
