Job Description – Senior Cloud / DevOps / Kubernetes Engineer

Responsible for designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and containerized platforms across AWS and Google Cloud environments. Lead the automation of infrastructure, application deployments, and operational workflows using modern DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code tools. Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to build reliable, secure, and highly available enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters across cloud platforms including AWS EKS, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and OpenShift.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and Ansible to automate provisioning and configuration of cloud resources.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and automation scripts to enable continuous integration and delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes pods, nodes, networking, resource limits, and cluster performance.
• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for scalable microservices deployments.
• Configure and manage cloud infrastructure services including networking, storage, compute, and monitoring within AWS and GCP environments.
• Automate operational workflows using Python, Bash, and API integrations.
• Deploy and manage Apache Kafka clusters, including monitoring, topic management, and high availability configurations.

• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as Splunk and CloudWatch.
• Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with standards such as PCI-DSS, STIG, and HIPAA.
• Collaborate with developers, security engineers, DBAs, and solution architects to deliver enterprise-grade cloud solutions.
• Design and implement cloud-native microservices and event-driven architectures using serverless technologies and messaging services.
• Provide technical leadership and consulting support to customers and internal teams on cloud architecture and DevOps best practices.
