This is a highly visible role within the Mergers & Acquisitions technology group, working directly with senior leadership to integrate newly acquired companies into a modern identity ecosystem. The person in this role will serve as the organization’s Okta subject matter expert, responsible for designing and leading identity architecture while also remaining hands-on with engineering and implementation.
The hiring leader for this role is selective and looking for someone who brings deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and the ability to lead complex identity transformations in a fast-moving environment.
The Opportunity
You will lead identity architecture and implementation efforts as newly acquired organizations are integrated into the company’s technology ecosystem. This includes designing and executing Okta-based identity strategies, migrating identity platforms, and establishing scalable identity governance and access management frameworks across global business units.
This is not a purely strategic role. The ideal candidate enjoys owning architecture while still rolling up their sleeves technically, solving complex identity challenges, and driving execution alongside engineering teams.
You will partner closely with security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure identity becomes the foundation for secure and scalable enterprise growth.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Architect and lead enterprise identity solutions built on Okta across a global organization
- Drive identity platform migrations and integrations as newly acquired companies are onboarded
- Design scalable IAM architecture, authentication frameworks, and access control models
- Lead cross-functional teams through identity transformations and integration initiatives
- Develop high-level identity designs that support automation, security, and operational efficiency
- Partner with cloud and infrastructure teams to align Okta, Azure, and enterprise security architecture
- Serve as the internal identity authority, advising executives and technical teams on best practices
- Lead implementation efforts while remaining hands-on with engineering when needed

- Deep expertise in Okta Identity Cloud architecture and implementation
- Strong background in Identity & Access Management (IAM) architecture and engineering
