Enterprise Data Architect (Contract to Hire)
About the Company
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of a modern enterprise data platform built on Snowflake. This role will play a critical part in shaping a scalable lakehouse architecture, enabling advanced analytics and supporting emerging LLM-driven capabilities.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, hands-on architecture role working closely with engineering teams to define strategy, guide implementation, and ensure best practices across the data ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable enterprise data lakehouse solutions using Snowflake
- Provide technical leadership around modern data architectures, including Snowflake Cortex and LLM-enabled data capabilities
- Work closely with data engineering teams to guide implementation and ensure architectural alignment
- Conduct regular technical syncs with developers and engineering teams
- Review development progress and provide technical direction
- Drive improvements to the enterprise data platform and analytics capabilities
- Collaborate with global teams to deliver scalable data solutions
- Support the implementation of advanced analytical and AI-driven data solutions
- Engage with senior stakeholders to align technical strategy with business objectives

Qualifications
- Strong experience designing enterprise data architectures
- Deep hands-on expertise with Snowflake, particularly enterprise-scale deployments
- Proven experience building data lakehouse platforms
- Experience working with Snowflake Cortex or LLM integrations
- Strong SQL and scripting skills
- Solid Python development experience
- Experience designing advanced analytics and data platforms
- Strong engineering background with the ability to guide technical teams
- Experience working across AWS (primary) and Azure
- Experience collaborating with data engineering teams
Required Skills
