Description:
We are seeking a Murex DevOps Engineer (Back Office Production Support) to own the reliability, automation, and operational stability of the MX.3 Back Office platform across non-prod and production environments. This role sits between DevOps/SRE and BO RUN support, focusing on environment management, CI/CD, release automation, monitoring/alerting, batch/EOD reliability, and rapid incident response.
You will partner with BO Support (L2/L3), Murex Dev, Infrastructure, and Release Management teams to reduce manual run effort, improve deployment quality, strengthen controls, and ensure stable EOD delivery.

Requirements:
- Experience in DevOps / SRE / Production Engineering, ideally supporting a trading or post-trade platform.
- Hands-on experience supporting Murex MX.3 (preferred) or a similar capital markets platform in production.
- Strong understanding of Back Office RUN concepts: batch chains, EOD cut-offs, break recovery, operational controls.
- Strong Linux/Unix skills: shell scripting, process management, log analysis, automation.
- Strong CI/CD experience: Git-based workflows, build/release pipelines (e.g., Jenkins/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps), artifact management.
- Monitoring & observability: building dashboards/alerts (e.g., Splunk/ELK, Grafana/Prometheus, Dynatrace/AppDynamics), on-call readiness.
- Experience with release and environment management: deployments, configuration management, secrets, patching, rollback strategies.
- Solid SQL skills for operational validation and reconciliation support.

Key Responsibilites:
- Own production reliability for MX.3 BO: monitoring, alerting, incident response, and operational readiness improvements.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to standardize deployments, reduce release risk, and enable repeatable environment builds.
- Automate BO run tasks: EOD/batch health checks, pre/post-run validations, break detection, and restart/recovery runbooks.
- Manage and improve environments (DEV/UAT/PROD): configuration consistency, promotions, access controls, and release coordination.
- Implement robust logging and observability: dashboards, actionable alerts, and metrics for batch performance and platform health.
- Support major incidents and crisis management: rapid triage, stakeholder comms support, RCA, and preventive actions.
- Partner with Murex Dev and BO Support teams to drive problem management and permanent fixes for recurring issues.
- Maintain operational documentation: runbooks, deployment procedures, control checklists, and continuous improvement backlog.
