About the Job


Heather Hilliard Design is a high-end residential interior design firm with clients throughout the Bay Area and beyond. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Interior Designer to join our team!

Duties


  • Produce plans, elevations, and reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) in AutoCAD
  • Select finishes, furnishings, and equipment and prepare FF&E schedules
  • Obtain and review vendor quotes for lead times, pricing, delivery, and freight; follow up on all information related to specifications and orders
  • Prepare proposals and proposal packages, including written item descriptions
  • Prepare job sheets, verify accuracy, and obtain approvals from Senior Designers
  • Process purchase orders and track order status
  • Obtain approvals on CFAs, finish samples, and merchandise; follow up on outstanding order issues
  • Coordinate with vendors, clients, architects, and consultants
  • Inspect items at warehouses and fabricators
  • Interact with builders, architects, and lighting and audio-visual design firms
  • Specify window treatment details for estimates and related documentation
  • Assist with all day-to-day project management activities required to keep projects on track


Required to Apply


  • Minimum of 5 years of interior design experience, including at least 2 years at a high-end residential design firm
  • Very strong AutoCAD skills, including drafting furniture plans, detailed elevations, custom cabinetry, and custom furniture
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design, Architecture, or Furniture Design
  • High level of detail orientation with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and a “do-what-it-takes” attitude
  • Clear communication skills, including excellent English grammar and spelling
  • Willingness to work full-time in an office with team members (not remote)

Salary Expectations: $120000 - $165000 (base) annually contingent on experience.
