Software Engineer - Defense Tech Startup

An early-stage defense tech startup in NoVA is looking for a Software Engineer to join their growing team.

They are building an aerial offensive software that's used for kinetic warfare missions. Their product leverages AI to optimize mission-critical decision making and direct their unguided, mass-produced munintions to be dropped deep into enemy territory. This allows them to pinpoint foreign military assets as targets that will allow them to overwhelm their adversaries through sustained launches.

Required

For this role, they need someone who is hyper-passionate about their mission and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Security clearances are not required for this role, however if you have one they will hold it for you. What They're Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer building web applications

• Hands-on with Typescript and React.js
• Proficiency in backend development with Python and/or other Open-Source languages
• Strong experience in cloud services architecture in GCP and/or AWS
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Nice to have(s): Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment; 0 to 1 development; AI/ML familiarity
