Manufacturing Quality Engineer โ Software / Embedded Systems

We are partnering with an innovative organization to add a Manufacturing Quality Engineer-Software/Embedded Systems to their growing team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software and embedded system solutions across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in software testing, quality assurance, and Agile development environments, along with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and manufacturing teams. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving quality processes, and working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
What Youโll Do
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test suites for software and embedded systems.
- Perform functional, regression, UAT, and live environment testing across multiple platforms.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Analyze system requirements and translate them into detailed test documentation and QA protocols.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including software engineers, designers, and business analysts to ensure product readiness.
- Support Agile development practices and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Evaluate product performance post-release using analytics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain quality documentation including FSDs, PRDs, and technical mock-ups.
- Support the development and maintenance of FMEAs and control plans.
- Assist in defining quality processes and technical standards in collaboration with development, product management, and manufacturing teams.
- Participate in planning and evaluating product test drives and system approvals.
- Provide quality support to technical and manufacturing teams and assist with daily operations as needed.
- Mentor and support team members on QA tools, testing processes, and best practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience with QA tools such as Jira, YouTrack, or similar platforms.
- Background in cross-platform testing and defect tracking.
- Experience supporting embedded systems or hardware/software integrated products.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain rigorous quality documentation.
