Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Python / Cloud)
Remote – Europe (CET preferred)
We are working with a fast-growing European AI startup building a platform that is transforming how global fashion brands create visual content.
Their technology enables companies to generate high-quality product imagery and creative assets using AI, significantly reducing the time and cost traditionally associated with large-scale photography production. The platform is already being used by major brands and the company is now scaling rapidly as adoption continues to grow.
They are now looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help design and scale the systems that power the platform.
This is a fully remote role where you will work on the core infrastructure supporting a product used by enterprise customers around the world.
The Role
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining the backend systems and cloud infrastructure that support a high-performance AI platform.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to build reliable, scalable systems capable of supporting rapid product growth and enterprise-level usage.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working on complex distributed systems, improving reliability and performance, and building infrastructure that enables product teams to ship quickly.

- Designing and scaling backend systems using Python
- Building and maintaining API-driven architectures
- Developing and improving cloud infrastructure across modern cloud platforms
- Managing containerised environments using technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Ensuring platform reliability, performance, and scalability
- Working with databases and data systems to support high-volume workloads
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to support new feature development
- Debugging and resolving issues across production environments
- Contributing to architectural decisions and improving development workflows
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong experience with Python
- Experience working with Django or similar backend frameworks
- Strong understanding of API design and distributed systems
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
- Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working with databases and scalable systems
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
