About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled backend engineer with a passion for coding in Rust to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance message delivery systems capable of operating at scale. Your work will involve solving complex technical challenges, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the stability and reliability of our platform. Qualifications

• Proven experience building production services with Rust
• Strong understanding of backend development principles and scalable system design
• Experience deploying high-quality code in fast-paced, high-availability environments
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated passion for creating a great developer experience
• Optional but preferred: experience working with high-scale systems and high availability architectures

Responsibilities

• Deploy high-quality production code efficiently in a fast-moving environment
• Contribute to the scaling of our messaging platform while maintaining system stability and high availability
• Design and implement new features that enhance the platform’s capabilities and user experience
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify technical requirements and deliver solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production issues promptly
