About CodeLeap

CodeLeap is a London-based software development agency with a large, remote engineering team in Brazil. We build web platforms, mobile apps, and AI-powered solutions for clients in the UK and Europe. Most projects involve Python/Django on the backend and React/Next.js on the frontend.

You’ll work with your teammates in Portuguese, and communicate with clients in English when needed. Our squads are small, fast-moving, and each person has clear ownership of their work.

Minimum requirements

• Practical experience with React and/or React Native, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Some hands-on experience building real projects (professional, freelance or personal projects with real complexity)
• Ability to solve problems independently and push tasks forward
• Good communication skills and ability to report progress clearly
• Ability to read and write in English – most of our clients are based in the UK and Europe
• Willingness to learn fast, ask questions, and improve continuously

Bonus points (welcome but not necessary)

• Previous experience working on production applications
• Experience with Next.js
• Understanding of UI/UX fundamentals
• Knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development
• Experience collaborating through Git workflows
• Strong attention to detail and code quality
