Job Description


Global IT Manager (contract)

c. £300 - £400 per day - Outside IR35 - 3 Months initially with potential to extend

Fully remote - Must reside in the UK


Talentedge Tech are working with an innovative and fast-growing technology HealthTech company as they look to hire a contract Global IT & Data Security Manager to take ownership of IT operations and data security across the business. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for the organisation’s IT and security strategy while also supporting day-to-day operations.


You’ll join a collaborative operations team and act as the go-to expert for IT infrastructure, security, and compliance, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and aligned with business growth.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own the organisation’s IT and data security strategy
  • Ensure compliance with relevant frameworks and regulations such as GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and CCPA (ISO 27001 is very important for this role)
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, hardware, systems monitoring, and vulnerability management
  • Manage security audits, risk management, and disaster recovery planning
  • Provide internal IT support and training to ensure secure and compliant ways of working
  • Act as a technical point of contact for client IT and security teams during onboarding and ongoing engagements
  • Manage IT suppliers, procurement, and budgets
  • Develop scalable security policies, procedures, and compliance processes


What We’re Looking For


  • At least 5+ years’ experience across IT operations and data security
  • Be able to start within the next couple of weeks (in March)
  • Strong experience with ISO 27001, data compliance, and risk management
  • Experience with SOC 2, CrowdStrike Falcon & Sprinto
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure, hardware, and vendors
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on environment within a growing business
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Based in the UK with the right to work
