About The Job

Our IT Master Data team is part of the Data & Analytics platform in the global IT & Data organization at Danone, with a purpose to “inspire & empower Danone through the world of tech and data”.

The Data & Analytics (D&A) Data Management team of the Groupe DANONE is looking for a Product Owner Customer Supplier Master Data.

This position is based in Warsaw and reports to the Senior Product owner Master Data.

What About The Job

The primary goal of this position is to shape the end to end data lifecycle of Customer Supplier data and drive it forward with a Product management approach, ensuring the link between the needs of end-users, the vision of the product and the organization of the delivery through sprints and the proper deployment and adoption

The role is an important player in managing Master Data of a core IT data product with a worldwide network of IT & Data professionals as well as close collaboration with the Danone Business Services and Global Data Owner organisation.

In this position you will be responsible for the technical ownership of Customer Supplier master data in the core IT applications, notably in Themis SAP as well as future MDM, ensuring integrity and maintenance of a Core Model approach in a context becoming more & more harmonized.

Key Responsibilities About you

• Product Strategy & Vision
• Define and maintain the product vision, value proposition, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and IT architecture, and the associated value of the product
• Act as primary contact for business stakeholders in Danone Business Services MDM and Global Business Data Owners organisations to consolidate new requirements and product backlog, coordination with other IT platforms and Infrastructure teams to assess and adapt to potential impacts on the Core processes
• Drive product adoption and use thereof across Global & local programs and Zones with a partnership of Reginal IT Data & Analytics Product Leaders.
• To ensure the right governance is in place, co leading with data ownership and stewardship functions through regular and formalised decision making structures.
• Product Lifecycle Management
• Own the product end-to-end, from ideation to deployment, operations, and decommissioning
• Mastering customer & supplier data models for the core applications including attributes, hierarchies, and interfaces from the technical point of view
• Handle simultaneously product discovery and product delivery throughout the different sprint cycles, and understand user needs via interviews, workshops, and data insights
• Develop and manage business requirements, write user stories, and communicating vision to developers and testers
• Track progress of product development in the context of larger programs as well as participating in managing the Demand management process in ServiceNow for requirements related to master Data.
• Maximizing ROI by identifying and prioritizing the product features by business value.
• Manage the Sources of Truth and Source of Records - ensuring downstream data enables the consolidation of all objects of customer in the data products.

• Technical & Data Understanding
• Provide expertise and knowledge on Customer Supplier Master on projects involving Master Data (SAP Themis & Non-Themis SAP projects)
• Understand system integrations, and the technical landscape impacting the product
• Manage the service catalogue and operating and cross charging model for Customer Supplier Data, assuring control of the budget and costs of data products
• Oversee the relationship with Deployment and Support teams ensuring skills and knowledge transfer through different KPIs and quality levels. (including Resolution of Incidents & Enhancements in ServiceNow).
• Global SAP (Themis) Deployment contact for the Customer & Supplier – coordinates in Global team tasks of the deployment as a MD Cleansing, MD workshop preparation, MD functional design, Gap Killing, Loading, Cutover, Go-Live, Post GL, Hand Over)
• Cross team collaboration
• Work closely with Data & Analytics colleagues on common product strategy approach for MDM applications throughout their lifecycle.
• Participate in architecture forums, governance committees, and process reviews.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, security policies, data governance rules, and core-model adherence.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science, data and analytics, or business administration
• A minimum of 7+ years of experience within a large, global, and matrixed organization is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with SAP IT products, ideally with a good knowledge of master data
• Technology knowledge includes SAP (multiple ERP modules In ECC and S4/Hana, and some customising and configuration knowledge will be a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

• The ideal candidate will have a transformative and strategic mindset to help shape the organization towards a deeper data enabled business, supported by tech expertise with modern data technology.
• Experience effectively collaborating and managing stakeholders and driving adoption to improve usage of Core models
