The Role
We're looking for a Business Data Analyst to join us on a part-time basis (one day per week). You'll work closely with our team to make sense of our platform data, user behaviour, and business performance — translating numbers into clear recommendations that help us grow smarter. This is a remote role and ideal for someone who wants meaningful analytical work alongside other commitments.
What You'll Be Doing
Working across the business to collect, analyse, and interpret data from our platform and operations. You'll identify trends in user behaviour, survey engagement, and product usage that inform strategic decisions. You'll build and maintain dashboards and reports that give the team visibility into key metrics. You'll prepare clear, concise summaries of your findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll support data modelling efforts and help establish best practices for how we track and measure performance. You'll collaborate with product, marketing, and leadership to answer the questions that matter most to the business.

What We're Looking For
We'd like someone with strong analytical thinking and a genuine curiosity about what the data is telling us. You should have solid experience working with data in a business context, whether that's in a formal analyst role or a related position where data-driven decision-making was central to your work. Proficiency in SQL is important, and familiarity with Python or R for analysis would be a plus. Experience with visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is beneficial. You should be comfortable with statistical concepts and confident in applying them practically. Above all, you need to be a clear communicator — someone who can distil complexity into straightforward insights and present them to a range of audiences. A degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Why Join QueryCrane
You'll be joining an early-stage, fast-moving company where your analysis will directly shape decisions. This is a chance to have real impact without the overhead of a large organisation. We're remote-first, flexible, and building something we believe in. If you enjoy working with data and want a role that fits around your schedule, we'd love to hear from you.
