Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 + Equity

Our client is a fast-growing AI startup building a new category of AI-powered research and insights platforms that helps companies understand their customers dramatically faster than traditional research methods.

Backed by top-tier venture investors and trusted by major global brands, the company has rapidly grown from $0 to significant revenue in under a year, with strong product-market fit and an expanding enterprise customer base.

The team includes engineers and operators from some of the most respected technology companies and high-performance environments. They are now expanding their engineering team and looking for talented builders who enjoy working on ambiguous, high-impact problems at the intersection of AI, infrastructure, and product development.

What You Will Do

As a Member of Technical Staff, you will work across product and platform engineering to build core systems powering an AI-native research platform.

You will have the opportunity to own problems end-to-end and contribute across multiple layers of the stack.

Responsibilities include:

• Build and scale AI-powered product features, including conversational interfaces and insight generation systems
• Design and develop distributed systems, APIs, and backend infrastructure that power large-scale customer research workflows
• Contribute to building LLM-powered pipelines and research agents that automate data collection and analysis
• Work on platform architecture and developer infrastructure to support rapid product iteration
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to build intuitive user experiences
• Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability across the platform
• Take ownership of complex problems and drive projects from concept to production
  
  

This role provides the opportunity to work across backend systems, AI infrastructure, product engineering, and user experience.

Ideal Candidate Background

We are looking for engineers who enjoy building impactful products in fast-moving startup environments.

Strong candidates typically have:

• 2-8 years of software engineering experience

• Experience building and shipping production software systems
• Background working at early-stage or high-growth technology startups
• Experience contributing to 0→1 product development
• Strong backend engineering skills and experience working with distributed systems
• Experience with languages such as Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar
• Comfort working across multiple parts of the stack
• A mindset of ownership, curiosity, and rapid execution
  
  

Engineers who thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and enjoy solving challenging technical problems will do particularly well in this role.

Preferred

The following experience would be beneficial but is not required:

• Experience with LLM-based systems or AI product development
• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, or modern frontend frameworks

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $200,000 - $300,000
