Telespazio Belgium can count on more than 45 years of experience in the field of Space Operations Service & Engineering activities.

We provide a significant contribution to the most major Space programs of the European Space Agency, EUSPA and other Telespazio Groups. Our core business is to work on the ground to build bridges into space, contributing to the success of ambitious missions.

The European Space Agency is our biggest client and we provide highly qualified employees to many sites of ESA but mainly for ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we provide a permanent contract with great benefits, a good salary, a relocation package along with genuine support to our employees.

Telespazio Belgium has an on‑site service at ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we are looking for a highly skilled Navigation System Engineer to work there.

Candidates must be eligible for a security personal clearance from an EU Member State national security administration

What Is Expected From You

  • Support the development and design of System Architecture for Galileo 2nd Generation System.
  • Contribute to the definition, analysis, and consolidation of system requirements and their flow down to segments.
  • Interface with ESA and other contractor companies for technical matters.
  • Support system reviews through projects’ lifecycle on system engineering aspects.
  • Elaboration of technical and contractual documentation (DCN/DCP, RFW/RFD, DDF, DJF, IRDs, etc).
  • Plan and follow tasks in a structured and pre-agreed manner with managers and stakeholders.
  • Work in an international team and in cooperation with system engineering and security experts

What You Offer

  • Master’s degree in aerospace, telecommunications or other related engineering and science disciplines. PhD is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge and experience in space system engineering and ground systems architecture applied to GNSS (preferably to Galileo Programme).
  • Knowledge of MBSE tools (e.g., Capella) and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of DOORS and requirements management.
  • Eligible for security clearance from their national security administration.
  • Proficient in English, speaking other European languages is an asset.

The Following Skills Are Considered An Asset

  • Knowledge in key management, network protocols, and security-related technologies applied to space communications.
  • Scaled Agile certification.
  • Programming skills applied to Engineering (e.g., Matlab, Python, C++).
