Associate Embedded Software Engineers
We're working with a global leader in aerospace and defense innovation on this exciting opportunity to build the next generation of precision engagement systems.
Join a high-impact engineering team developing mission-critical software for advanced weapon systems and cruise missiles that protect nations worldwide. You will dive deep into full-lifecycle development using C/C++, Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), and modern DevOps pipelines to deliver high-performance embedded solutions.
The Role
- Design, develop, and debug real-time embedded software for specialized hardware platforms including ARM and PowerPC architectures.
- Implement complex algorithms and software architectures for Direct Attack (DA) and Cruise Missile Systems (CMS).
- Collaborate in an Agile environment to integrate software with hardware components for weapons systems like JDAM and SDB.
- Execute Cyber Vulnerability Analysis (CVA) and develop monitoring algorithms to ensure mission safety and system assurance.
- Automate software builds and testing workflows using modern DevOps toolchains including Gitlab and Artifactory.

- 2+ years of professional experience in C/C++ coding or Java development.
- 1+ years of hands-on experience with Embedded Real-Time Software Development and RTOS.
- Proven experience with DevOps tools for automated builds, unit testing, and integration (Gitlab, Artifactory, or similar).
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
- Strong foundation in engineering (BS degree) and experience with processor architectures like ARM or PowerPC is a major plus.
