Job Description

At Continental Tires, we’re driving innovation not only on the road but also in the digital world. As a Solution Architect WAN, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing secure, high-performance network services that connect our global operations and enable seamless hybrid cloud experiences.

As a "Solution Architect WAN (m/w/d)" you will work with cutting-edge SD-WAN technologies, cloud networking and automation tools to build a resilient, scalable architecture that powers our enterprise. In your role you will design, implement and optimize our WAN network services with the following key responsibilities:

• Design, Develop and implement SD-WAN connectivity across data centers, branch offices, and cloud platforms
• Configure and manage edge devices, cloud gateways, and orchestrators for seamless hybrid operations.
• Define and enforce routing, segmentation, and security policies across global environments.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using network automation tool stacks
• Develop the Shadow WAN solutions for smaller locations
  
  

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
• 5+ of experience in network engineering or a related role, with a focus SD-WAN and Cloud connectivity

• CCNP is mandatory, other certifications, such as CCIE represent a plus
  
  

Skills:

• Strong understanding of network technologies and protocols.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing complex network architectures.
• Strong experience in SD-WAN technologies and enterprise network architecture.
• Hands-on experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Hands-on skills with automation tools ( e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Python).
• Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and security best practices.
• Ability to review designs thoroughly and make sure they meet the needs of the solution being built.
• Ability to collaborate across global teams and drive innovative solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge/experience in Project management.
• English language skills - minimum B2.
