You'll work with large, multi-modal datasets-including continuous sensor data, biomedical signals, and clinical data-while collaborating closely with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to bring algorithms into production.

Key responsibilities include developing and validating machine learning and deep learning models, prototyping new ideas, contributing to algorithm design and implementation, and supporting data analysis tied to clinical studies. This is a highly collaborative role with real-world impact, emphasizing both innovation and deployment quality.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, deep learning, or statistical signal processing (Engineer II may require less)
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, anomaly detection)
  • Experience with deep learning models (e.g., CNNs, RNNs)
  • Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB; working knowledge of C/C++
  • Experience using ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, or scikit-learn
  • Strong data analysis, modeling, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional R&D environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience applying AI/ML to biomedical or physiological data
  • Familiarity with DSP, embedded systems, or signal processing
  • Exposure to clinical data analysis or clinical study design
  • Background in computer vision, audio/speech processing, or sensor-based data
  • Experience working with large datasets or cloud-based ML workflows
