In this role, you will serve as a strategic HR leader for a globally distributed, remote-first business unit, ensuring that people processes align with business goals and drive team performance. You will work closely with managers to optimize staffing, engagement, and retention, while implementing HR initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity. Your influence will extend across hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration. Operating in a fast-paced, international environment, you will balance strategic planning with hands-on HR operations, supporting teams across multiple countries. Accountabilities
- Ensure the effectiveness and productivity of employees within the business unit, aligning personnel efforts with strategic goals and financial targets.
- Manage staffing levels, ensuring the right people are in the right roles and that probationary and performance standards are met.
- Foster employee engagement, motivation, and retention through initiatives that create a positive and productive work environment.
- Implement, monitor, and enforce HR processes and policies across the business unit, ensuring compliance with internal regulations and local laws.
- Track and measure HR performance metrics, including manager and employee satisfaction, turnover, efficiency, and engagement.
- Support managers with talent planning, succession, and development programs to strengthen the organization’s capabilities.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of HR practices across diverse locations.
- 4+ years of proven experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Director in international digital, IT, or product companies.
- Hands-on expertise in the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, training and development, succession planning, performance evaluation, and terminations.
- Experience managing payroll budgets, monitoring turnover, and applying C&B analytics to drive measurable results.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver HR initiatives in a complex, remote environment.
- Goal-oriented, data-driven, and persistent, with the ability to achieve outcomes under pressure and through ambiguity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both English and Russian.
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and distributed teams, balancing strategic planning with operational execution.
- Highly stress-resistant, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
