The Company

Nintendo European Research and Development (NERD) is a French subsidiary of Nintendo. Position Responsibilities

This position is the interface between NERD developers and technology users (Nintendo group and third-party entities).

Responsibilities include:

  • Release management (testing, documentation, packaging, delivery, demonstrations) of software technologies, both embedded and online.
  • Technical support to NERD developers and technology users.
  • Maintenance of the development toolchain, collaboration tools and automation tasks.

This position is for you if you:


  • are a team player, with a service-oriented mind and good relational skills.
  • exhibit strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • are rigorous, and curious about cutting-edge technologies.
  • ideally have a Master’s Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, and experience in software development.
  • have a strong knowledge of interpreted languages (Python, shells) in Windows and Linux environments as well as experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and build toolchains.
  • are accustomed to source code management, and able to assemble, maintain, and port code from various partners with experience in continuous integration. Knowledge of C++ is a plus.


We expect candidates to be proficient in English, both written and spoken. The majority of employees speak French, but we also welcome non-French speaking candidates to apply. French, English and Japanese lessons are provided in the office for those willing to learn.


Additional Information

This full-time position is located in central Paris, France, and candidates are expected to relocate near Paris (domestic and international relocation support provided).

The candidate can expect an annual gross salary of 48,000€ + 1400€* per year of experience (+5% individual bonus).

For example,

- 5 years of experience: 55,000€

- 10 years of experience: 62,000€

*Please note that this figure will vary depending on the candidate’s level of academic and professional experience, as well as other conditions like project management or leadership experience.
