About This Position
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Business Analyst to provide operational leadership and project management/ business analysis for IDB Invest applications related to Legal Department. This hybrid role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of existing systems, the successful delivery of change requests, and the implementation of projects that enhance business processes and system functionalities.
The consultant will act as the key liaison between the business, technical teams, and stakeholders, ensuring operational continuity, timely resolution of issues, and effective delivery of enhancements and new initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day support of Legal applications.
- Provide expert guidance to business users on system functionality, workflows, and data.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate application incidents and user issues as needed.
- Ensure effective integration and data flow between Legal systems and enterprise platforms.
- Maintain system and process documentation to support controls, audits, and compliance.
- Develop and deliver user training, guides, FAQs, and support materials.
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements to efficiency and user experience.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for enhancements and integrations.
- Manage small to medium projects, including planning, risk management, testing, and delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and architects to implement compliant, scalable solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in operations and support of enterprise systems, including troubleshooting, incident management, and user support.
- Strong project management skills across full lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Proven experience in supporting Salesforce-based enterprise applications.
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. (Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner is a plus.)
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Visio, BPMN, Microsoft Project).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience in testing, quality assurance, and process improvement.
- Knowledge of enterprise system integration is a plus.
- Experience with RFI/RFP process is a plus.

- Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in computer science, information technology, engineering,business or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
- Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience in IT project management /business analysis, Quality Assurance functions preferably supporting Legal or financial applications in large-scale or complex environments.
- Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.
- Citizenship: No requirements
- Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
International consultant Full-Time, 12 months (up to 48 months, if applicable).
