Role Overview

A highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager responsible for planning, executing, and delivering large-scale enterprise technology initiatives. The role focuses on managing complex IT programs such as cloud migrations, software deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives. This position leads cross-functional global teams, ensures alignment between IT initiatives and business strategy, and delivers projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership

• Lead and manage enterprise-level IT programs and project portfolios exceeding $5M.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and deployment.

• Deliver complex initiatives such as cloud migrations (AWS, Azure), software implementations, and infrastructure modernization.

Stakeholder & Executive Management

• Collaborate with C-level executives and senior leadership to align IT initiatives with strategic business objectives.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and KPIs to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Manage relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and business partners.

Agile & Project Delivery

• Lead teams using Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release cycles using tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
• Ensure efficient resource allocation and maintain project timelines.

Risk, Governance & Compliance

• Identify and mitigate project risks while implementing governance frameworks and PMO standards.
• Track key performance indicators, project milestones, and delivery metrics.
• Recover and stabilize at-risk projects through proactive management strategies.

Budget & Vendor Management

• Manage multi-million-dollar project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
• Lead RFP processes, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
• Optimize vendor relationships to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor cross-functional and distributed teams including developers, analysts, engineers, and junior project managers.
• Support PMO operations and provide coaching on project management best practices.
• Foster collaboration across global teams to drive successful project outcomes.
