Senior Angular Engineer (Angular 20)

ProSearch is hiring a remote Senior Angular Engineer (Angular 20) for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a confidential enterprise client’s Digital Communications Platform.

This enterprise platform powers customer communications across email, SMS, portal notifications, and print. The team is backend-heavy today, primarily Python in AWS, and is now investing significantly in elevating the frontend experience. This hire will serve as the primary UI engineer within a pod alongside two backend engineers.

A Collaborative Remote Culture

This is not an isolated contract role. Although fully remote within the United States, the team operates with consistent touch points, active communication channels, and strong cross-functional engagement. You will collaborate daily with backend engineers, UX, and Product partners.

Core working hours are 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST to support real-time interaction. Engineers are expected to be accessible via team communication tools and available to connect when needed. The culture emphasizes shared ownership, transparency, and partnership, not solo contribution in a vacuum.

What You Will Do

This role is 99% frontend focused using Angular 20.

You will:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise Angular applications
• Own the full frontend lifecycle from implementation through automated testing
• Build communication preference management interfaces
• Develop notification inbox and messaging experiences
• Support template rendering services and future digital communication capabilities
• Implement end-to-end browser testing using Cypress
• Maintain unit test coverage using Jest

• Translate business and UX requirements into intuitive, production-ready UI solutions

• There is no dedicated QA resource, so frontend quality and automated testing ownership are essential.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end engineering experience, with at least 3 years working in Angular (v2+)
• Strong command of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Senior-level experience building production-grade applications with Angular 20
• Strong enterprise frontend development experience
• Experience operating within defined UI patterns and architectural standards
• Hands-on experience with Cypress and Jest
• Ability to execute independently while remaining highly collaborative
• Strong communication skills in distributed remote teams
• Availability during EST core hours

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to AWS environments
