Network Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer

Robert Half Technology is partnering with a fast-growing technology company operating at the intersection of advanced engineering, robotics, and manufacturing to hire a Network Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer.

This organization is scaling rapidly and building modern infrastructure to support highly automated operational environments. They are seeking an engineer who can operate across network infrastructure, systems administration, and DevOps automation to help design and scale a resilient platform supporting both cloud and on-prem environments.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in high-growth environments where they can take ownership, automate infrastructure, and influence how systems are built as the organization expands.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise networking infrastructure including firewalls, routing, switching, and VPN environments

• Support hybrid infrastructure environments spanning cloud platforms and on-prem systems

• Build and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, GitOps workflows, and scripting

• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and engineering teams to improve reliability and scalability

• Implement monitoring, automation, and operational improvements across infrastructure systems

• Support secure connectivity and networking across multiple operational locations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or systems administration

• Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools)

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure including firewalls, routing, switching, and VPN connectivity

• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure environments (AWS or similar platforms)

• Scripting experience with Python or similar languages used for automation

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in startup or high-growth technology environments

• Exposure to modern network security platforms and enterprise networking hardware

• Experience supporting infrastructure for engineering, manufacturing, or large-scale operational environments
