Job Description
Are you a curious, motivated Business Intelligence Developer looking for the next step in your career?
Do you enjoy sitting down with stakeholders, understanding what they really need, and turning that into clear, meaningful insight?
If so, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
This Housing Association is looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join their growing data function. This role is ideal for an early-mid level developer who has solid foundations in Power BI and requirements gathering, and now wants to develop further in a supportive, purpose-driven organisation.
You’ll work closely with operational teams across housing, repairs, finance and customer services, helping them move to interactive, trusted dashboards. You won’t just be building charts; you’ll be helping teams make better decisions for the communities they serve.
As Business Intelligence Developer, you’ll:
- Gather reporting requirements directly from stakeholders across the business.
- Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards that are clear, intuitive and genuinely useful.
- Work with data colleagues to ensure reporting is built on reliable, well-structured data.
- Support users in understanding and adopting new reports.
- Continuously improve report performance, usability and insight value.

Housing sector experience is not essential. What matters most is your attitude, your curiosity, and your willingness to develop.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation with a strong social purpose, where data is valued and investment is being made in doing things properly. You’ll be supported, mentored, and given space to grow whether that’s into a Senior BI Developer, Analytics Lead or broader Data role in the future.
You won’t just be another report builder. You’ll be part of shaping how this organisation uses data to improve services and outcomes for its residents.
The role can offer fully remote working, a salary of £42,000 and a supportive culture where your development genuinely matters.
If you’re ready to build your career in an environment where your work has real impact, I’d love to hear from you.
