Job Description
Director of HRIS
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organization and make an impact in this newly created role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute a multi-year HR technology roadmap aligned with retail, distribution, and corporate operational priorities, ensuring scalability, stability, and modernization of enterprise HR systems.
- Provide enterprise ownership of HR technology ecosystem, including HRIS, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Benefits, and workforce management platforms.
- Lead end-to-end system implementations, including new platform deployments, module expansions, integrations, and major enhancements.
- Drive automation and process optimization across the full employee lifecycle, from hire through separation, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
- Ensure payroll accuracy, timekeeping compliance, and multi-state wage and hour adherence for both hourly and salaried team members.
- Oversee enterprise integrations across HR, payroll, finance, labor reporting, and business intelligence platforms to ensure data integrity and operational continuity.
- Establish and maintain HR data governance, system security standards, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance protocols.
- Partner closely with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and Operations leadership to strengthen controls, mitigate risk, and align technology strategy with business objectives.
- Advance labor optimization and workforce analytics capabilities to support data-driven decision-making and operational performance.
- Ensure system stability, performance, scalability, and long-term architecture alignment in a multi-location retail and distribution environment.
- Provide leadership to the HR Technology function, developing succession plans and long-term talent strategy for the HRIS team.
