Manual QA Tester for Mobile Platforms

About the Opportunity:

A SaaS-based software service provider for construction management is seeking an experienced manual QA tester for Mobile platforms to join the QA team. The role focuses on ensuring high quality and availability of the platform through manual and automated testing of mobile applications built with technologies like Javascript, Angular, Bootstrap, Swift, and Kotlin.

Responsibilities:

• Own QA validation of stories for Mobile Platforms and ensure features are production-ready

• Collaborate with Mobile teams to create and contribute UI tests, explore new features, and identify bugs or regressions

• Test new features developed during sprints

• Write and catalog new test cases in TestRail to increase coverage

• Identify testability requirements using industry standards for manual testing

• Plan, write, and execute tests with mobile teams and participate in release sign-off

• Work with automation engineers to prioritize and automate tests for regression coverage

• Collaborate with QA team and engineers to establish testing best practices

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a QA tester (engineer or analyst)

• Experience executing test cycles and reporting results and failures

• Familiarity with QA best practices including test coverage, edge cases, and exploratory testing

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Experience working in scrum teams with agile methodologies

• Experience testing on mobile devices and emulators using Android Studio and XCode

• Preferred: experience developing comprehensive test plans

• Preferred: experience with mobile testing on both iOS and Android

• Preferred: experience with Charles Proxy

• Preferred: experience with benchmarking and profiling mobile apps

Compensation:

• Estimated pay range: $75,000 to $90,000

• Salary offer based on skills, qualifications, and experience

• Eligibility for corporate bonus up to 20%
