Senior Pega Engineer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pega Engineer (CSSA) with strong hands-on experience in Pega Constellation application development. This role requires deep expertise in architecting and delivering scalable, end-to-end enterprise applications using the Pega Platform.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and configure case types, data models, personas, and UI using Constellation (App Studio-first approach)
• Architect and implement end-to-end workflows using reusable components and standardized Constellation patterns

• Lead modernization efforts from UI Kit to Constellation architecture
• Develop greenfield Constellation-based applications
• Design and implement integrations (REST/SOAP services, data pages)
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability
• Enforce Pega guardrails and best practices
• Utilize Dev Studio for advanced rule configurations (when required)
• Collaborate with BAs, UX designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business journeys into scalable solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and support LSA-level architectural decisions
• Participate in Agile/DevOps delivery cycles

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience with Pega Constellation architecture
• CSSA certification (mandatory)
• Expertise in case management, workflows, and data modeling
• Strong integration design experience (REST/SOAP)
• Experience modernizing legacy Pega UI Kit applications
• Solid understanding of Pega guardrails and performance tuning
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
