Position: Vice President, Partnership Marketing

Location: North Carolina

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 + Commission + Benefits + Relocation Package

The Role

Forsyth Barnes have partnered with a leading sports team who are seeking an experienced and driven Vice President, Partnership Marketing to lead the strategic evolution of the teams partnership platforms, designing scalable, integrated programs that maximize sponsor ROI while elevating the fan experience.


This is a rare opportunity to shape and modernize a partnership marketing function, transforming it from a traditional activation and fulfillment department into a best-in-class, revenue-generating and brand-building engine. This role requires a hybrid leader: equal parts marketer, commercial strategist, relationship builder and activation operator.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic evolution of partnership marketing into a scalable, revenue-driving function.
  • Design and execute integrated, multi-channel activation programs that deliver measurable partner ROI.
  • Collaborate with Sponsorship Sales to ideate, package, and sell marketing-led platforms to new and existing partners.
  • Identify and unlock incremental revenue opportunities through co-branded campaigns, retail promotions, digital, community, and experiential integrations.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven ability to design and sell marketing-driven activation campaigns to corporate partners.
  • Deep expertise in brand positioning, experiential marketing, retail activation, and digital integration.
  • Proven track record in sports, brand marketing, agency, entertainment, or consumer marketing, with demonstrated experience building integrated marketing programs.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and renewals.
  • Proven experience of senior leadership and people management experience.
  • Ability to operate strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environment.
