The Role

• Lead operations and development for high-availability cloud services (EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, Bedrock).

• Oversee the 2025 launch of a significant European cloud initiative.

• Collaborate with global teams and influence the evolution of cloud services and technology.

• Enhance day-to-day operations, focusing on availability, reliability, latency, and performance.

• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 service resilience.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

What You'll Need

• EU citizenship and residency.

• Expertise in systems engineering, including hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.

• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Python, or Ruby.

• Strong understanding of Linux and networking for troubleshooting and performance.

• Ability to create and improve standard operational procedures (SOPs) and drive best practices.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
