Technical Project Manager

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager in Uruguay.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate a variety of technical projects, including software development and system integrations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope. You will act as the bridge between engineering, product, design, and sales teams, translating requirements into actionable plans and tracking progress across all phases of the project lifecycle. The position offers the chance to work in a dynamic, remote-first environment, managing both internal tools and external client-facing solutions. Your efforts will directly impact operational efficiency and client satisfaction, requiring strong organizational, communication, and technical skills. You will also have the opportunity to implement Agile practices and drive continuous improvement across teams.

Accountabilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of projects, from planning and development to deployment, testing, maintenance, and ongoing support.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, designers, and sales to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Manage project resources, budgets, timelines, and documentation to meet milestones.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, providing regular status updates and reports.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to minimize project delays or performance issues.
• Support Agile practices and foster continuous improvement in project execution.
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager or Technical Project Manager.

• Proven experience managing software development projects (80%) and infrastructure projects (20%).
• Strong knowledge of project management and software development life cycles.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Advanced English proficiency for daily collaboration with international stakeholders.
• Willingness to work during NYC business hours (7 AM – 4 PM EST).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical background in QA, business analysis, or software development.
