Senior Business Analyst - Pega Constellation

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Business Analyst with deep experience in Pega Constellation to lead end-to-end journey design and act as a strategic bridge between business and IT.

This is not a traditional documentation-heavy BA role. This is a configuration-led, data-first solution design role inside App Studio. If you thrive in scalable low-code environments and believe in configuration over customization — this role is for you.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and translate epics into App Studio models using Constellation

• Define case types, stages, steps, SLAs, and measurable success criteria
• Design robust data models (entities, attributes, relationships, cardinality) using a data-model-first approach
• Configure directly in Pega Platform (App Studio) — minimizing Dev Studio reliance
• Apply a configuration-over-customization mindset
• Reuse published automations / smart shapes (KYC, archiving, notifications)
• Define case hierarchies (parent/child/related) and cross-case interactions
• Own feature journeys across Azure DevOps / Jira backlogs
• Champion Pega Constellation’s opinionated UI principles
• Ensure guardrail compliance, reusable configurations, and traceable acceptance criteria
• Coach teams transitioning from UI Kit / Dev Studio-heavy models to Constellation.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of Business Analysis experience
• 2–3+ years delivering production solutions in Pega Constellation (App Studio)
• Strong data-model-first design capability
• Deep understanding of case orchestration (stages, steps, outcomes)
• Hands-on configuration experience (case types, data objects, personas, channels)
• Experience designing exception paths without heavy customization
• Comfortable working within standardized UI patterns
• Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
