Front Office Python Developer

We are partnered with one of our Energy Trading Clients based in Zurich who are looking for a Front Office Python Developer to work closely with the traders in an exciting fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with traders to translate desk requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop and enhance real-time pricing, risk, and P&L tools used by commodity traders.
• Build and maintain Python-based analytics libraries and trading utilities.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of strong commercial experience using Python (pandas, NumPy, SciPy, asyncio, etc.).
• Experience working in a Front-Office Trading environment, strong preference for commodities exposure.
• Familiarity with market data APIs and real-time systems.
• Exposure to risk systems and trade lifecycle workflows is a nice to have.
