Job Description
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with 5+ years of hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise IT infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, security, performance, and availability across servers, networks, and cloud environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, proactive monitoring, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers to ensure stable and secure operations.
- Monitor system performance and maintain high availability across infrastructure environments.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and routine maintenance activities.
- Administer and monitor cloud infrastructure (Azure / AWS / GCP as applicable), including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.
- Ensure effective backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
- Implement and maintain security measures, monitor security alerts, and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
- Manage firewall configurations, antivirus solutions, and endpoint protection systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Provide L2/L3 support for infrastructure incidents and coordinate with cross-functional teams for escalations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting tools such as PowerShell or Bash.
- Optimize system performance and resource utilization, and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator
- Strong knowledge of:
- Windows Server and/or Linux administration
- Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, Firewall)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS preferred)
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently
