Community Critical Access hospital looking to bring on Sr. Director HR! Bonus Incentive Program and Full relocation!


300+ employees with a team of 4 direct reports. Reports to the CEO.


Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborates with executive leadership to align HR strategies (recruitment, retention, and staffing) with organizational goals and patient care needs.
  • Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversees high-volume recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensures adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as accrediting body regulations (e.g., Joint Commission).
  • Employee Relations: Mediates disputes, manages employee disciplinary actions, and handles labor relations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+years of HR experience, with significant leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • HRCI PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, labor relations, HRIS systems, and strategic planning.
