Position Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Manual and Automation Tester / QA Engineer to support business-critical applications through high-quality testing, automation, and Agile delivery practices. This role is ideal for a driven QA professional who thrives in both manual and automated testing environments, enjoys working with backend systems, and is comfortable collaborating across technical and business teams.
In addition to testing responsibilities, this role will also provide Scrum Master support, helping facilitate Agile ceremonies, maintain documentation, and support release management activities. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, product owners, and solution architects to ensure system reliability, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute manual and automated testing for enterprise systems and applications
- Validate test conditions using backend systems, including SQL queries, API/service responses, and UI verification
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and similar platforms
- Build, maintain, and execute test automation frameworks and scripts (UFT and related tools)
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and release documentation
- Develop clear, detailed defect reports and collaborate with development teams for resolution
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Assist with release management and documentation
- Collaborate with business users on data validation, UI updates, and system verification
- Participate in DevOps and Agile workflows to improve testing efficiency and delivery speed
- Troubleshoot system issues and support ad hoc testing needs
- Demonstrate system functionality and user stories to stakeholders and customers

Required Skills/Education:
Technical & QA Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing
- Experience with test automation frameworks (UFT preferred)
- Strong knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)
- Experience with SQL/PLSQL and database validation
- Knowledge of SDLC, QA methodologies, and system life cycles
- Experience with HP ALM, VersionOne, or similar test/work management tools
- Understanding of DevSecOps, Agile Scrum, and CI/CD practices
- Familiarity with tools such as Playwright, JMeter, AML is a plus
- Experience with secure coding and testing practices is an advantage
