Job Description

Director of Marketing with 8+ years of experience in growth-stage marketing roles needed for a full-time, fully remote position with our AI start-up client. This is a highly confidential position with a well-capitalized company that will be launching its product in the next two months. Looking for someone who has experience working very closely with the CEO and who has experience using AI tools to create outsized capabilities and efficiencies. Must be someone who excels in asking questions, diving, in, and risking failure. Can’t be the type of person who gets caught in the weeds. Must be willing and able to fight hard to create speed and efficiencies. Salary is 150-175K with a combination of cash bonus and equity.

We’re seeking an execution-focused Director of Marketing to lead hands-on strategy and day-to-day performance, translating brand vision into measurable growth in a dynamic, founder-led environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute multi-channel marketing (digital, content, SEO, events, PR)
  • Drive growth for membership, events, and advisory offerings
  • Build and manage marketing systems and performance dashboards
  • Manage content calendar, campaigns, and brand positioning
  • Partner with CEO and business unit leaders on growth priorities
  • Oversee external agencies and vendors

Ideal Candidate:

  • 8+ years’ experience in growth-stage marketing
  • Strong grasp of CAC, LTV, and funnel metrics
  • Skilled with modern marketing tools and AI
  • Thrives in fast-paced, feedback-driven environments
  • Excellent writing and strategic judgment
  • High ownership, resilience, and follow-through

Success Measures:

  • Predictable, sustainable pipeline growth
  • Data-driven strategy and execution
  • Long-term brand authority
  • Flawless event and digital campaigns
