Python QA Engineer

Grid Dynamics is looking for a skilled Python QA Engineer to join a high-performing distributed team working on cutting-edge solutions for one of the world’s most recognised technology companies.

This is a strong technical role requiring solid coding skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to build automation frameworks from scratch.

About The Project

The system is primarily focused on back-end development (Java, Oracle, AWS), with additional dashboards and internal tools that require automated UI testing. You will contribute to building reliable, scalable, and maintainable test automation solutions across complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering and analysis
• Design and develop test automation frameworks
• Increase and maintain test coverage
• Investigate test failures and perform root cause analysis
• Report bugs and suggest improvements
• Collaborate across multiple locations and time zones

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in automation testing
• Strong Python 3 coding skills
• Java familiarity
• Experience with API testing
• Kafka experience
• Familiarity with key AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda; EMR is a plus)
• Ability to learn new domain areas quickly
• Comfortable working with fragmented information
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good English and excellent communication skills
