About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our client's dynamic team on a fully remote basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure solutions primarily on AWS. You will collaborate closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, optimize deployment processes, and enhance system reliability. Your expertise in cloud architecture, automation, and container orchestration will be instrumental in supporting the company's SaaS products and ensuring high availability and security. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a desire to own and drive critical infrastructure initiatives from conception to production.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in cloud engineering, with proven experience in AWS and DevOps practices. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on expertise with Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks. A solid understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimization is essential. Experience with SaaS products, startup environments, and solutions-focused teamwork is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting. Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect are a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as EKS, EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management.
• Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and deployment using tools like Argo CD, Octopus, or similar platforms.
