We are partnering with a leading global quantitative hedge fund to hire a senior, hands-on Python engineer into a high-impact middle office technology team. This is a lead role embedded within the core trading infrastructure — offering real ownership, visibility, and influence across front office, technology, and control functions.

You will be responsible for building and evolving robust, scalable systems that support critical reporting, automation, and data workflows across global markets. The mandate is to strengthen architecture, drive intelligent automation, and enhance data integrity across complex, high-volume environments.

What they’re looking for:

• 8+ years of software development experience
• Very strong Python expertise (non-negotiable)
• Experience designing and building frameworks and tools from scratch
• Strong SQL/database knowledge and experience working with large datasets
• Solid understanding of financial products and Risk/Regulatory landscapes
• Experience improving and automating complex operational workflows
