Job Description
The position is based at our production plant in Sardinia (Domusnovas, SU) working in the Explosives Engineering team. The role will give you the opportunity to work with our explosives experts.
Role and Responsibilities
- Evaluation/analysis of warhead designs, explosive trains, selection of energetic materials in order to achieve specified effects, etc.;
- Preparation of technical documentation (e.g. test plans and reports, technical reports, specifications)
- When required, carry out laboratory analyses on inert or explosive materials;
- Interface with and support the other functions with in the engineering function (mechanical, electronic, etc.) and other wider functions within RWM Italia (e.g. Production, Quality Assurance, Business Development and Sales), as required.
Essential Skills Required
- Higher education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline;
- Advanced level of English both written and spoken;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential);
- Analytical skills, attention to detail clear communication;
- Willing to relocate if necessary, and prepared to travel occasionally if required between the company’s different locations (in particular Ghedi) or internationally.
