- Contribute to the design and implementation of Dabble’s SIEM capabilities, including log collection, onboarding data sources, and defining alerting logic, working closely with Security Partners
- Monitor and analyze security events across cloud, application, and infrastructure layers to identify potential threats or anomalies
- Assist in incident triage, containment, and response activities, including evidence collection and root cause analysis, working with Security Partners and internal teams
- Support the vulnerability management process by maintaining visibility of issues, tracking progress, and holding accountable teams responsible for remediation
- Maintain and perform operational tasks within the Vanta compliance platform, including control status reviews, evidence uploads, and task management
- Collate monthly security reporting, including incident summaries, vulnerability metrics, compliance progress, and key risk indicators
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to embed security controls within AWS and CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain and improve security tooling to ensure effective visibility and detection across environments
- Support compliance activities, including gathering and organizing evidence for audits and control assessments (e.g., PCI DSS SAQ-A, ISO 27001)
- Assist in developing and maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures
- Conduct user awareness activities to promote security best practices across the company.
- Stay informed on emerging threats, attack trends, and security tooling relevant to Dabble’s operations

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in a security operations, monitoring, or response role
- Exposure to SIEM and log analysis tools, with a desire to help build and operationalize such capabilities
- Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred) and DevOps pipelines
- Familiarity with endpoint detection, vulnerability management, and incident response processes
- Working knowledge of network protocols, authentication, and web application security
- Exposure to compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or GDPR (good to have)
- Strong analytical and documentation skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Primary Location
Our preference is for this role to be based in Austin, Texas. For the right candidate we would consider a fully remote position, however you would need to be based in one of the following states: Texas, Nevada, Colorado, North Carolina, Florida, Illinois, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania.
