Competitive Salary between £160,000 and £180,000 base plus benefits.

The product is already used commercially and is central to how clients manage and automate specialist knowledge work. Backed by leading investors and with a strong balance sheet, they are now scaling their engineering and AI teams significantly. You will be part of a highly technical, in-office culture focused on shipping high-quality product quickly.

The Role

• Design, build and deploy production AI models that directly power core product features.
• Work across the stack to take ideas from research and prototyping into robust, user-facing systems.

• Implement, test and optimise model evaluation pipelines to improve quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product and research to design new AI features end to end.
• Contribute to architecture and infrastructure decisions in a modern cloud environment.

Your Skills and Experience

• Strong commercial experience as an AI-focused engineer or software engineer with deep AI exposure.
• Excellent Python skills and a track record of writing production-quality code.

• Experience building and deploying ML or LLM-driven systems into live environments.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals across backend and, ideally, some frontend experience.
• Familiarity with modern web and data technologies such as React, TypeScript, APIs, relational databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-person environment and collaborating closely with a highly technical team.
• Strong academic background in a relevant subject and/or evidence of high-calibre research or open-source work is highly valued.
