By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

About The Team

The Anduril Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems across both hardware and software, deployed to tackle the most significant security challenges of America and its allies. The team is heavily involved in utilizing computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to give our war fighters and allies an advantage.

We are looking for someone with an eagerness to learn and adapt within fast-paced, highly technical, and interdisciplinary teams. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating across teams to quickly and effectively resolve production issues.

What You'll Do

  • Support and optimize production test activities, including hands-on troubleshooting of complex infrared systems and maintaining test equipment for precision and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, develop troubleshooting guides, and collaborate with engineering teams on corrective actions and failure analysis.
  • Generate clear test work instructions for technicians and provide training on equipment usage.
  • Analyze test data, document findings, and generate detailed reports to identify defects, provide feedback for product enhancements, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute feedback to early-stage test design for new product introduction (NPI) processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience or coursework involving data acquisition and processing with tools like MATLAB, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Familiarity with test automation and report generation concepts.
  • Foundational understanding of root cause analysis principles for hardware, software, and firmware, with a desire to develop these skills further.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exposure to or coursework involving the integration of electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
