Company Description

Hyperic is building fully autonomous drones to replace pilots using foundational action models. From defense, industrials to space, you will be apart of a team that puts self-piloted drones everywhere.


Role Description

This is a full-time intern role, on-site role based in San Francisco for an Electrical Engineer intern. The intern will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing flight controllers, ESCs, radio systems, and various other key flight components. You will be taking full ownership of a project, going from design to PCBA.


You'll get a credit card, an objective, and the freedom to run wild with your ideas and build cool shit.

Requirements

  • Duration: 12 - 16 Weeks (Flexible start and end dates)
  • Willing to relocate to San Francisco, California for the duration of the internship
  • Ability to work in the U.S (Visa sponsorship available)


Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the STM32 family of microcontrollers
  • Experience with drawing electrical schematics
  • Experience with PCB layouts
  • Experience with PCB manufacturing services (JLCPCB/PCBWay)
  • Experience with PCB assembly (hotplates/soldering)
  • Solid knowledge of E&M and its applications
  • Ability to read and interpret technical datasheets
  • Experience in Altium/KiCad
  • Ability to take full ownership
