Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. You will build and optimize the data infrastructure that powers critical decisions across Data Science, Fraud, and Marketing, delivering scalable solutions that drive real impact.
What You’ll Do
- Build & Scale: Design and implement Spark ETL pipelines on AWS to process large-scale data.
- Collaborate: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand needs and deliver reliable data solutions.
- Optimize: Maintain and enhance data platform architecture for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure Excellence: Champion data quality, governance, and reliability across all data products.
- Drive Innovation: Implement best practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Maintain Operations: Ensure platform health through monitoring, incident response, and performance tuning.
Who We're Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Experience: 5+ years in Data Warehousing, Architecture, or Engineering.
- Big Data: Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Hive, including streaming pipelines.
- Programming: High proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python.
- Cloud: Deep hands-on experience with AWS (EMR, S3, Lambda, Redshift).
- System Design: Strong grasp of system design, data structures, algorithms, and building large-scale data products.
- Governance: Solid understanding of data quality and governance principles.
- Mindset: Self-driven, collaborative, and eager to learn.

In accordance with the New York City Salary Transparency Law, the base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 – $250,000.00 annually. This range represents the good-faith minimum and maximum salary the Company believes it would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, commissions, and/or benefits, as applicable.
