Job Description
We are seeking to recruit a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Data Science and AI to enhance and expand our excellent research and teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the following areas:
AI Futures Grants provide financial support to reimburse relocation costs such as visa fees, the immigration health surcharge and travel/subsistence expenses. Successful candidates for this role may be able to get up to £10,000 to meet relocation costs, subject to terms and conditions, in addition to University of Sheffield relocation support. - Responsible applications of AI; Ethical and Responsible Computing; Data Mining; Data Analysis; Data Visualisation; Business Intelligence; Project Management You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant field, a developing (Lecturer) / established (Senior Lecturer) research profile, a proven teaching ability, a strong commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. We are particularly keen to attract applications from those who have a good understanding of FATES (fairness, accountability, transparency, ethics, safety and security) principles and responsible data and AI practices in data science research.
