Position Summary

The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for the administration, optimization, and support of the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role ensures data integrity, delivers accurate reporting and analytics, supports HR operational processes within the system, and partners cross-functionally to maintain efficient, compliant, and scalable HR systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supports day-to-day administration of the HRIS system, including employee data maintenance, system configuration updates, and user access management.
  • Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits, reconciliations, and validation checks across HR, payroll, and benefit systems.
  • Manage HR reporting and analytics, including development of standard reports, ad hoc reporting, and support for leadership data requests.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS inquiries, troubleshooting system issues and coordinating resolution with IT or vendors as needed.
  • Support HR processes within the system including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, compensation updates, benefits administration, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain and update system workflows, business rules, and process documentation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to support system integrations, upgrades, testing, and implementation of enhancements.
  • Assist with compliance reporting and audits by ensuring accurate and timely data submission.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within HR systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–4 years of experience in HRIS, HR operations, payroll systems, or related analytical role

Preferred Characteristics

  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms and reporting tools
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
  • Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, or testing activities preferred
