We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer to help us support our continued growth internally. The role participates in project standup meetings and is responsible for data related tasks assigned by the Revenue Operations Director including but not limited to working to improve Coastal’s operational capabilities in Tableau, CRM Analytics, Standard Salesforce Reports and Data Cloud.
The Data Analytics Engineer will be mentored on all work weekly by the Lead Analytics Director or their designee.
Role Responsibilities:
During the implementation phase:
- Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data solutions and ETL/ELT processes that prepare, integrate, and transform data for analysis, with a specific focus on CRM Analytics and/or Tableau with enterprise system data.
- Visualization Development: Build and maintain high-impact dashboards and reports that provide clear, intuitive, and actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, logic, visualization standards, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure thorough unit testing is complete and documented, verifying the accuracy and integrity of data transformations, analytical logic, and visualization outputs.
- During the deployment phase:
- Deployment Support: Provide technical support and expertise during the deployment and rollout of analytical solutions and visualization assets you are responsible for developing.

- 2-3 years of proven experience in developing and managing dashboards/reporting using leading visualization tools
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Hands on experience with a combination of Tableau Prep, Tableau Pulse, CRM Analytics Recipes, CRM Analytics Dataflows
- Familiar with relational database design, logical data modeling, data warehousing, and relational database management systems. Experience on the top RDBMS systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Familiar with best practices when working with Salesforce Data Cloud
- Familiar SQL, SOQL, SOSL and SAQL query languages
- Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
- Certifications: Professional certifications in Sales Cloud or Industry Cloud, Tableau, CRM Analytics, Data Cloud or relevant data platforms.
- Basic/Trailhead hands-on experience with Tableau Next, Tableau, CRMA preferred.
